Dinamo’s Defense Lacking, Says Jeličić: Even Mia Khalifa Defends Better

Football analyst Joško Jeličić humorously critiqued the defending of Dinamo Zagreb, pointing out their poor performance this season.

During his analysis, Jeličić jokingly remarked on Dinamo’s defense and also turned his attention to their biggest rivals, Hajduk Split.

“Even Mia Khalifa defends better than Dinamo,” stated Jeličić, before shifting his focus to Hajduk.

“Football is the biggest deception. Hajduk’s tactics resemble reciting the Lord’s Prayer, Hail Mary, and Glory Be. When Livaja is not present, they may as well say the whole rosary and hope for divine intervention. Without ideas, there’s no breakthrough. Ivan Rakitić experienced 23 lost possessions and had 69% passing accuracy. If anyone can deliver quality and skill on that pitch, with 20,000 spectators and sunny weather, it’s Ivan. This indicates Hajduk lacks both gameplay and solutions,” Jeličić added.

To recap, Dinamo is currently third in the HNL with 42 points, five behind second-placed Rijeka, and six behind leaders Hajduk.
